The median response time for ambulances arriving first at incidents involving patients with life-threatening conditions (Priority '0').
Note:
- Response times are suppressed when the number of responses is < 10
- The LGA names are based on 2011 ABS Census.
- There were name changes to four Victorian LGAs based on the 2016 ABS Census: Latrobe (C) to Latrobe (C) (Vic.); Melton (S) to Melton (C); Kingston (C) to Kingston (C) (Vic.); Wodonga (RC) to Wodonga (C).
Response time is measured from the receipt of the triple zero (000) call until paramedics arrive on the scene. Ambulance dispatches are prioritised to respond to those requiring the most urgent assistance.
The median response time is the time within which half of the responses are completed. It may also be referred to as the 50th percentile response time.
