This report shows the results of the 'very good' and 'good' responses to the adult inpatient Victorian Healthcare Experience Survey question relating to overall healthcare experience.

Note(s):

  • Reporting of this measure is lagged by one quarter. 
  • Royal Children’s Hospital results are from the Victorian Healthcare Experience Survey: Paediatric Inpatient.
  • Beginning FY 2018/19 Q1, results are suppressed (displayed as NP) when there were less than 30 responses. Prior to that, results are suppressed when there were less than 42 responses. 

About the VHES

The Victorian Healthcare Experience Survey (VHES) has been implemented in Victorian health services as a tool to measure patient experience. 

Target

As part of Statewide and/or National agreements, targets have been set for some key performance indicators. These annual targets are shown to enable comparative achievements to be illustrated.
